- Height-pole escortover 15'0" height
Lead pilot car must carry a height-clearance pole for loads taller than 15' (WYDOT Ch. 5 §6).
- Lead (front) pilot carover 14'0" width
Front pilot car required for widths over 14' on all state highways. One escort on 2-lane (WYDOT Ch. 5 §6).
- Lead (front) pilot carover 100'0" length
Front pilot required for overall lengths over 100' on 2-lane and undivided highways (WYDOT Ch. 5 §6).
Travel restrictions
- Daylight-only travelover 14'0" width
Loads over 14' wide restricted to daylight hours (sunrise to sunset). Night travel requires special permit endorsement (WYDOT Ch. 5 §6).
- Weekend / holiday restrictionover 14'0" width
No oversize movement on New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Window begins noon of preceding day for loads over 14' wide (WYDOT Ch. 5 §6).
