Lowboy

A trailer that sits very low to the ground to haul tall, heavy equipment under height limits.

A lowboy (or low-bed) trailer has a deck that drops down between the gooseneck and the rear wheels, sitting only a couple of feet off the ground. That low deck lets it carry tall, heavy machinery — excavators, dozers, cranes — while keeping the total height legal or close to it. Many lowboys are RGNs so equipment can drive on and off the front.
