Zipper

CB slang for the painted line down the middle of the road.

On the CB, the 'zipper' is the centerline or lane stripe running down the road — 'stay off the zipper' means hold your lane and don't drift over the line. For escorts running a wide load, knowing exactly where the zipper is matters: the load may be straddling it, and oncoming traffic needs room.
