Superload
An extremely large or heavy load above a state's normal oversize thresholds, needing special review.
A superload is a load so large or heavy that it exceeds the upper limits of a state's routine oversize permitting — thresholds vary, but it often means widths, heights, or weights well beyond ordinary permits. Superloads typically require an engineered route survey, multiple escorts, possible police escorts, bridge analysis, and case-by-case approval from the state, with longer lead times.
