Perimeter (blade) trailer

A trailer with a low frame around the outside of the load, common for wind turbine blades.

A perimeter trailer has its frame routed around the outside edges of the load, leaving the center open and the deck extremely low — ideal for tall, awkward freight like wind turbine blades, tank heads, and large vessels. Blade and 'clamshell' blade trailers are a related family built specifically for wind energy components.
